ABVP delegation meets JU VC 6/4/2015 10:50:11 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 4: A delegation of Jammu University Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) Research Scholar led by Convenor Lokinder Singh met Vice Chancellor and apprised him of the demands of scholars of Jammu University. As per press release, Lokinder Singh said that the prime issue was regarding non- payment of UGC NET JRF Scholarship to Research Scholars which was enhanced by UGC in December last year except those Scholars who are getting payment through online mode from UGC. He demanded from the Vice Chancellor to intervene into the matter and bring urgency in dealing with the concerned officials of UGC as well as university officials so that research Scholars of Jammu University will get their Scholarship as soon as possible. Apart from that Lokinder Singh also demanded from the Vice Chancellor to make Central library of Jammu University fully centralized Air Conditioned, as this has been the long and pending demand of ABVP.
