Jammu, June 4 : Retreating is demand for early release of pending 6 percent installment of dearness allowance (DA) President National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri, today urged the State Chief Minister to release the same DA installment due from January last in favor of its employees and pensioners.
As per press release, Subash Shastri demands said in view of sharp increase of the prices of essential commodities and inflation, as another installment of DA @8% has also become due to both Central and State Government Employees and pensioners from July1,2015 which ultimately pile up of the arrears burdening further State exchequer of the State Government, as a matter of goodwill Gesture, hence an early release of DA installment is need of the hour.
Addressing a meeting of NMC activists here, Shastri said that in view of increasing prices and inflation, the release of DA installment has become more necessary, adding that the budget for the year 2015-16 so there should be no hitch for the State Government in releasing thesxe installment, he said any delay in such matter is also not in the interest of state exchequer, he added. |
