Meritorious students of Govt Boys Hr Sec School Bakshi Nagar honored 6/4/2015 11:16:44 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 4: In a program held at Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School, Bakshi Nagar, students who were meritorious were honored by BJP MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma who was called upon as the Chief Guest on the occasion. The students who were honored included Shivam Gupta scoring 81.6 %, Ranjesh Kumar scoring 80.8 %, Arjun Kumar scoring 80%, Amit Kumar scoring 75% in Science subjects whereas Amar Kumar scored 78.4 % in Arts and Sumit Singh scored 74% in Commerce subject. Others who secured First Division included Arush Gupta, Vishal Mehra, Ridham Bharti, Anchal Singh, Atul Shukal, Tenzin Gaydun and Naveen Sharma. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma (CA) lauded the efforts of the students who worked hard day and night during their exams time to secure such marks and he appreciated the efforts of teachers as well who were available every time for the help of the students. He said that youth is the back bone of the nation and the future of the country is dependent upon youth as the young talent has the zeal inside it which can mould any problem into many solutions. He also stressed upon "Swach Bharat Abhiyaan" and said the work of construction of Toilets in Schools through RMSA (Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyaan) is a great initiative taken by Ministry of Human Resource Development and has become a great step to overcome the problem of Toilets in Government Schools.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
