FMPWs stage protest, demand regularity in monthly remuneration 6/4/2015 11:18:25 PM Early Times Report Kathua, June 4: Hundreds of Female Multipurpose Workers of Health department today staged huge protest demonstration outside the office of Chief Medical Officer Kathua wherein they demanded 12 months' remuneration and regular salary in future too. While addressing to media, Kul Devi, an employee of Parole Block who also led the protest, said they have not got monthly remuneration for last 12 months that affects their livelihood. She informed that the FMPWs used to staged protest demonstration in previous months and highlighted the matter before CMO and Health Minister but nothing has been done till date. They sought regular funding under 2211 Financial head and demanded to eradicate two head and salary must be release under 2210 Financial head only. Sumar Kumari, another protesters had also same view and said they got salary quarterly but their tolerance power burst out when they could not get salary for last 12 months, she said their families have expectation to them but how could they fulfill their wishes without salary. When contacted to Basant Kumar CMO, he said they work under Central sponsored Scheme and union government send fund to state government for their salary under 2211 financial head.
