reasi, June 4: Wrestler Tinku of Rohtak in Haryana lifted the 52nd Aghar Jitto Kesari Dangal title held under the banner of Baba Jitto Development Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Village Aghar Jitto in district Reasi as part of the three-day mela.
Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Abdul Sattar was chief guest, who gave away cash prizes to the winners and runners-up wrestlers. President of the Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma presided. Tehsildar Katra, Kavita Pandoh, DySP Katra, Dr Ashok Sharma and Mubarik Singh were guests of honour.
Earlier, in the main bout, Tinku defeated Lallu of Bajrangi Akhara to claim Rs 6,000 cash prize. Runners up, Lallu received Rs 4,000 prize from DySP, Dr Ashok Sharma, ZEO Gopal Krishan and Mubarik Singh.
In the second main bout, Amir Khan of Nargada defeated Sheru of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. Third main bout went to Tinku of Rothak after he outplayed Murad Ali of Domana Akhara while Rajesh of Jindrah bagged the fourth bout beating Raj Kumar of Banaras in UP.
Earlier, president of the Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma inaugurated the dangal. Also present were Baba Mohan Lal, Krishan Singh, Gopal Krishan and Naresh Kumar.
In all, 46 bouts took place in this dangal. Members and technical officials who helped in the conduct of this event included Baba Mohan Lal Ji, Sarpanch Krishan Singh (Pappu), ZEO Gopal Krishan, Romesh Kumar Sanmotra, Om Parkash Malkotra, Sunil Kholi, Jugal Kishore Sharma (Bunty), Krishan Chand Verma, Mangat Ram, Bansi Lal, Bodh Raj, Om Parkash, Bishan Dass, Romesh Kumar, Ram, Pt. Rameshwar, Mohinder Kumar, Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri), Murli Dhar (Munna), Capt. Lehar Singh and Tulinder Kumar.
