Early Times Report Jammu, June 17: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) started a five days Personality Development Camp (PDC) at Shree Institute of Education, Ambphalla Jammu. The Camp was formally inaugurated by Pawan Sharma, ABVP State Organizing Secretary Jammu- Kashmir. According to press release, in this five days camp, Students from various schools of Jammu city are going to participate. Students will learn skills for their personality development. Different sessions will be held on different topics like leadership qualities, Moral Character Building, Management Skills, Career Counseling, English Speaking, Yoga and much more. This will be taught by experts of Jammu city. On first day of PDC, addressing the participating students, Pawan Sharma gave a motivational speech on Moral Character building. He said that character is the sum of qualities shown up in a person, moral or ethical strength and the description of a person's attributes, traits and abilities. He further said that for character building students should choose a set of rules, morals or principles that they believe will lead them to a happy, satisfying, righteous life and a better world. Pawan Sharma further said that ABVP is bridging the gap between the ambitions of the students and needs of the nation. By organizing such kind of PDC's ABVP is enhancing the thinking level and knowledge of the students. Second secession of Career Counseling was taken by Dr. Parkash, Professor Department of Economics, JU and Suneet Raina, Chairman Shree Institute of Education, threw light on the working of ABVP in building a strong nation by organizing such type of camps for youth to make them able to face any challenge of life. |
