DODA, June 17: A public awareness programme on parental counselling held at Government High School (GHS) Bagla in which large number of public, parents, panchayat members, VLEC members and teachers of various clusters participated.
Mohd Ayiaz Iqbal Mughal District Education and Planning Officer Doda was the chief guest while Head Master GHS Bagla Sayeeda Anjum was guest of honour on the occasion.
Nasir Wani, Zonal Coordinator Inclusive Education for Differently (IED) abled students, IED zone Ghat highlighted the overview of SSA and its flagship programmes especially IED.
Kismat Singh District coordinator, IED made a threadbare discussion on IED and its benefits to be provided to Children With Special Needs (CWSN) and also the benefits through other schemes like RBSK, NRHM and Social Welfare schemes for the CWSN. He explained all kinds of disabilities in detail. While speaking on the occasion, Mohd Ayiaz Iqbal Mughal threw light on need and importance of inclusive education and stressed to make it successful. |
