Early Times Report
Jammu, June 17: Holding BJP culpable for inflicting a lethal dent upon Dogra's pride and honour by pusillanimously surrendering before the PDP on the Jammu related issues, Young Panthers lambasted the saffron brigade for treacherously betraying the mandate of Jammu Pradesh for the lust of power.
Addressing media persons, spokesman of YP Gagan Pratap Singh said that the party carrying the mission of 'Fight for Jammu' along with hundreds of activists shall march towards the Parliament of India on June 18, 2015 to protest against the obnoxious discrimination doled out to Jammu region immediately after the formation of the sinister BJP-PDP coalition government in the state where the saffron party conceded Rs. 1600 crores prestigious AIIMS to Kashmir on a platter that was actually sanctioned for Jammu region in the Union Budget Session on 28th Feb. 2015 by the Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely, thus bartering away a long cherished dream of the people of Jammu Pradesh.
He said, on behalf of JKNPP extended its full support to a three day 'Jammu bandh call' from June 19 to 21, 2015 being given by an Apex body of civil society groups represented by ACC (AIIMS Coordination Committee) to protest against the shifting of AIIMS from Jammu to Kashmir. He appealed to the people including the youth, students, traders and shopkeepers, businessmen, intellectuals and other social organizations to observe a complete shut down on all the three days to make the Jammu bandh call successful at all costs.
Gagan exhorted the people to adopt and support the Dogma of Panthers Party as it is the only regional party of Jammu Pradesh which has been fighting with letter and spirits for the cause of the people since the time of inception.
Others who were present in the press conference included Parshotam Parihar, Anil Rakwal and Bashir Ahmad.
