Jammu, June 17: Grooming youths of Government Degree College, Gool today celebrated Annual Day function with pump and show under the guidance of Principal of the college in the college premises at Gool.
According to press release, the function was started with revelation of "Naat". The students presented various cultural programs including songs, group songs, group dances, speeches and poems that enthralled the audience.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Chander Shekhar, the Principal of the college said that such functions not only provide some moments of enjoyment to the audience but also educate about rich cultural and heritage of area in particular and of the state in general.
He congrulated the students and staff of the college for achieving 100% result in B.A.Part-III examination which is the 1st batch of the college. On this occasion, he advised the students to do hard work and shine the name of College in state by attaining enviable height in the field of education and other extra co-curricular activities. |
