| Distt Police holds three PCPGs in Reasi | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, June 17: To strengthen Police Public relations and to bring people nearer to the Police for better output in prevention and detection of crime, a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) Meetings were held under the supervision of Sujit Kumar (IPS) SSP Reasi were heldon Tuesday at different villages in Reasi district. According to police spokesperson these meetings were attended by Sarpanch/ Panches/ Numberdar and other villagers of the area.
He said a team of Police Personnel headed by Inspector Ayaz Ahmed, SDPO Mahore at village Dewal, other at village Ladh Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi and another headed by Inspector Romal Singh, SHO P/S Mahore at village Bagga Tehsil Mahore, District Reasi held these meetings.
"At the outset of these meetings, the participants were welcomed by the chairing Police officers, appreciated the participants for sparing their valuable time to attend these meetings and requested them to put forth their genuine problems, police said.
Prominent citizens spoke on the occasion and all of them praised the work of Reasi Police besides this various public issues and problems of people were discussed in the meeting pertaining to different departments. The grievances of all the participants were listened patiently and they were assured that their genuine demands will be communicated to the senior officers for redressal. |
