District police Kishtwar holds meeting with retired police personnel

KISHTWAR, June 17: Kishtwar police under the chairmanship of SP Kishtwar Yougal Manhas held a meeting of retired Police personnel at New DC office Conference hall.
As many as 40-50 retired Police personnel participated in the interactive meet.
Abdul Qayoom, Addl SP Kishtwar and Irshad Ahmed Angher, DySP OPS, Kishtwar were also present in the meeting. During meeting, detailed discussions regarding holding of such meetings were made with the participants.
Later on, various issues were raised by the participants, who were assured that their grievances would be taken up with the concerned quarters for redressal. Moreover, two minutes silence was also observed to pay homage to late Amar Chand Bhagat- Rtd Sub Inspector.
Finally, the meeting ended with the assurance that such meetings will be held on regular basis. It was further decided that retired police personal will assemble on August 2 at the same venue for electing the President as well as other office bearers of the organization exclusively for retired police personnel.
