| The Holy Shri Amarnath Yatra which commences
every year In the month of June. This year also
the yatra shall start on 2nd of July 2015. The registration for which has already been undertaken and still going on. The pilgrims from all over India and even from abroad do undertake this yatra in all religious fervor and passion. It has a registration centre at Jammu (Bhagwati nagar) where the govt. has made all arrangements for lodging and boarding of pilgrims and sadhu samaj.
The pilgrims are sent in batches in buses and small vehicles under heavy security coverage from Jammu to Srinagar and then to pahalgam special layers and medical facilities are made by civil as well as army and para military forces and doctors.
The deployment of heavy security coverage by army and paramilitary forces are usual phenomenon. Moreover, it is ensured by the divisional as well as district administrations of both Jammu and Kashmir that no inconvience is caused to yatris enroute to pilgrimage.
People from all walks of life pay obeisance at the holy cave of shivling of Lord Shiva and Parvati ji. After paying obeisance at the holy cave of lord shiva where the holy shivling is located people (yatri) become overjoyed as they feel that they have completed the yatra successfully and then they return back to Jammu for onward journey. India is one of the most secular Republic in the world with 112 crores population. The people of various cast, creed, sex and status are living and have enjoyed equal fundamental rights envisaged in the constitution. India believes in non violence and peace and development of all, east, west, north and south but does not believe in unpeaceful environment created by antinational elements.
India has a zero tolerance for terrorism and strongly opposed terrorism in all its form. India is staunch supporter of Mahatma Gandhi legacy which is based on the progress and development of all (sarva dhrama). The recent statement issued by chairman of Hurriyat Conerence Syed Ali Shah Geelani that Shri Amarnath yatra be reduced and cut short the duration of yatra. I think Geelani is very elderly known person should not have stated like this.
Geelani has no right to dictate the duly elected govt. functions and also has got no right to interfere in the religion of others. You may be a true Muslim or Hindu or Sikh and Christian but it is out of place to make such statements publically. It clearly indicates your biased conscious and straight interference in the religious matter of other communities. Islam preaching are very pious and never allows Muslims to commits sins and atrocities on innocents.
Rising above all religious fanatism and political affiliations, we must give regards to contemporary thoughts of treating all religion equally well and hold long cherised values of human well being in the society which is multicolored. This will bring a unity in diversity in India. The questions of jihad does not arise all persons irrespective of caste, creed and sex are enjoying equal fundamental rights and therefore terrorist fighting for jihad or so called "Azadi" or for separate home land has no place in the present situation where there is no discrimination against any religion. Why should there be undesirable and uncalled for, movements against its own country. Does it mean that a proxy war from across the border shall bring an everlasting solution to waxed Kashmir problem. Mahatma Gandhi and Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru legacy always stood for secular values and India's implacable struggle against oppressor of secular values will continue till last antinational are weeded out from its soil.
There fore pious statements of all those who have faith in Lord Shiva blessing be given due regard. The separatists should know that govt. has already decided the tenure of pilgrimage and question of making it shorter does not arise and for smooth and peaceful pilgrimage all necessary arrangements are being made thread ware. All security and intelligence agencies are working day in and day out. Various modalities for the smooth going of Shri Amarnath Yatra .
No body shall be allowed to disrupt the yatra. As per old tradition people of Kashmir shall welcome the yatra and help administration in many ways like arranging pithus, ponies ad also providing other facilities which are needed for the smooth going of yatra. |
