Pak admits sponsoring terrorism in J&K | | | Early Times Report Jammu, June 28: Pakistan has probably for the first time admitted its role in sponsoring terrorism in the State . The Pakistan authorities received the dead body of the terrorist who died after exploding a grenade in Kashmir. Wahid Noor Khan was arrested by the police in 2001. He was being shifted when he flunked a grenade to escape in Sopore, but the grenade exploded killing him and a police personnel on June 20. The police had then denied sending the dead body of Noor Khan to his residence at Panchmag-Rawalakote in PoK. However, on Friday five police officials of the State police carried the body to Wagah border where it was handed over to the deceased's brother Mohammad Zahid. The dead body was handed over after completing all the formalities. According the sources, the Hizbul Mujahideen supremo Salah-ud-din participated in the funeral. Sources said the state police contacted the home and external affairs ministry for the return of the body of the terrorists, and much to the surprise of the officials, the Pakistan agreed to it. Police sources said it is probably for the first time that Pakistan by accepting to take back the dead body of the terrorist, has admitted its role. According to the sources, the Pakistan was forced to take back the body as terrorists groups operating and being trained by the Pakistan pressurized it to do so. Sources said the incident also reflects the fact that terrorists being trained by the Pakistan are turning the tables and could be going against the diktats of the officials of the Pakistan army and also of the ISI. "The coming days will see much more of such developments as Pakistan is now facing the music of its terrorists. It will also help in exposing the role of the Pakistan in sending the terrorists and this will also help in exposing the terrorists. |
