Early Times Report JAMMU, June 28: Brilliant half century from Satish Kohli today powered Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) to make it a six wickets win against Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) in group-A tie of the ongoing league round of Cheverolet Cricket Cup at KC Public School ground, here. Earlier, batting first, MGCA put up a total of 131 runs, which, in reply, Rainwari overhauled in mere 13 overs losing four wickets. Sahil Magotra and Tushar Gupta were top scorers with 33 and 28 runs respectively. From Rainawari, Sourav and Ashok bowled well sharing two wickets each. Later, Rainawari chased the target of 132 runs in 13 over with six wickets in hand. Satish Kohli made it a one-sided contest with the help of his 51 runs. Ishan Gupta also batted well contributing 38 runs to the total. From MGCA, Sahil and Ankush took one wicket each. For his superb innings of 51 runs, Satish Kohli was obvious choice for the man of the match title. Sadiq Hussain Malik, Rajinder Singh and Honey Chib officiated this match. Meanwhile, in the second match of the day played between KCC and MFCC, former registered an easy eight wickets win. Batting first, after winning the toss, MFCC bowled out for 82 runs in 18.3 overs, courtesy five wickets haul from Saumya and three wickets taken by Raman Dutta. Ankit and Naveen were main scorers with 19 and 10 runs in their respective accounts. In reply, KCC chased the small total in just 6.4 overs losing two wickets. Pankaj Ladda (42 off 15 balls) and Akash Chaudhary (23 off 10 balls) led the side to an outright win. Ankit and Abhi shared the wickets from MFCC. Akash Chaudhary was declared man of the match.
