Batote, June 28: On the first day of the 62nd Annual Sant Sammelan at Gurudwara Yadgar Thakur (Sant) Bhai Bhalla Singh and Thakur (Sant)Bhai Mela Singh, Batote organized by Sant Akali Mehar Singh Shabad, Keertan by the Gurshabad Prachar Sabha Sohana Sangat, Jammu and Pravachan (sermons) by the famous saints, religious preachers and social workers from J&K and other states were held today.
MOS Finance and IT Pawan Gupta, General Officer Commanding, Major General AS Rawat, Deputy GOC, Brig Sandeep Thapar, KP Singh SSP Traffic, Sanjay Kotwal, SSP Ramban, Randeep Kumar were present on the occasion.
Giani Ravel Singh, Head Granthi, Shri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, Mahant Teja Singh of Gurusar Khuda, Sant Tej Vant Singh of Danna, Jammu, Mahant Sukhwant Singh of Jalandhar, Bhupinder Singh, Dr Agnishekhar, Naib-Tehsildar, Batote, Saifullah Shah were the prominent speakers on the occasion.
A free medical camp was also organized by the Army on occasion of Sant Sammelan. |
