Saqlin of Poonch leaves for international course | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 28: International spiker from J&K, Saqlin Tariq of Poonch today left for Chennai to take part in a five-day Federation International Volleyball Technical Seminar- Setter's course today. The course has been organized by Dr. Sivanthi Adityan FVIB Regional Development Centre for Volleyball, Chennai. Tariq is among 26 promising players selected from Asia for enriching his caliber and updating himself to the latest techniques in the game. Meanwhile, president of Volleyball Association of J&K, Sidharth Daluja congratulated Saqlin on his selection and expressed his gratitude to Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) for picking up J&K spiker for the prestigious course. It is important to mention here that Saqlin led the Indian team in the 10th Asian Youth Volleyball Championship held at Colombo in Sri Lanka last September. |
