UDHAMPUR, June 28: 16 passengers got injured when a Tempo they were travelling in rolled down into deep gorge at Latti- Sudh Mahadev road near Mantalai in Udhampur District.
According to the reports, a Tempo bearing Registration number JK14B-1011 which was on its way to Mattan in Kashmir Valley from Marothi village rolled down into a deep gorge near Mantalai.
Police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to PHC Sudh Mahadev and Sub District Hospital Chenani.
The injured were identified as Omkar (50) son of Munshi Ram of Sarar, Manohar Lal (33) son of Laju Ram of Sarar, Sham Lal (44) son of Suram Chand of Sarar, Ajay (12) son of Sham of Sara, Bishnu Devi (60) wife of Chipa Ram of Mrothi, Krishan Lal (55) son of Mari Ram of Jig, Bimla Devi (40) wife of Krishan Lal of Jig, Rahul Kumar (7) son of Lekh Raj of Jig, Shammu (2) daughter of Om Prakash of Marothi, Dhuoli Devi (50) wife of Som Raj of Sarar, Som Raj (52) son of Beli Ram of Sarar, Amar Nath (67) son of Santoo of Sarar, Des Raj (40) son of Neshu of Marothi, Taro Devi (35) wife of Om Prakash of Marothi, Om Prakash (37) son of Balku of Marothi, Joginder Kumar (30) son of Krishan Lal of Jig. Latti police registered the case and started investigation. |
