BJP indulging in 'distracting tactics' to hide its betrayal and failures: Cong | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 16 : Asserting that BJP which always boasted to be a party with a differences and promised to give an efficient and clean government now stands exposed for its failures on all fronts at the centre and in state as well, JKPCC Chief Spokesman Ravinder Sharma said it is now indulging in diversionary tactics to hide their betrayal and failures. In a statement JKPCC Chief Spokesman Ravinder Sharma said that BJP finds itself in tight spot and cornered, for having failed to deliver on its tall claims during the Lok Sabha and later Assembly elections, is trying to indulge in diverting the attention of the people from the misdeeds of the centre and state government. "Prime Minister Narinder Modi has been maintaining studied silence on serious and sensitive issues which have arisen in relation to the past over one year of the rule at the centre and as he has failed to act against the erring leaders like Sushma Swaraj, Vasundra Raje Scindia and Shiv Raj Singh Chouhan and all this exposes the tall claims of BJP before the countrymen in a short span of its rule," he added. He stated party stands exposed not only for its double standards and duplicity while in opposition and in power but also on the issues of principled politics and governance as its several ruling leaders are mired in controversies and allegations of serious nature but continue to enjoy their positions in power. He said that two BJP ministers in the ruling coalition were at loggerheads over the issue of encroachments on government and forest land, for obvious reasons. "Even Court has seized some matters of sitting ministers but the party has maintained studied silence reasons better known to party itself ," he added |
