| Marwah BDO attached for saying "no" to politicians' unjust works | | |

Kishtwar, July 16: In an act of alleged political vendetta, a KAS officer posted as BDO, Marwah, in Kishtwar was attached in the office of Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Kishtwar after he refused to toe the line of the activists of BJP and PDP.
As per the details available with Early Times, Director Rural Development Jammu M L Raina vide order No 586 DRD of 2015 dated 15-07-2015 with endorsement No Estt/Gnl/BDO/11753-59 order the immediate attachment of Jubeer Ahmed Lone, BDO, Marwah, in the office of ACD with further direction that he shall be treated to have been relieved from the post of BDO Marwah forthwith and the additional charge of block Marwah was assigned to BDO, Dachhan, till further orders.
Sources said that action against the BDO comes in wake of his refusal to fall to toeing line of coalition leaders who wants undue favour for his workers in Marwah. The sources alleged that the said officer was asked to prepared the bills against non existing works which he refused that annoyed the politicians associated with ruling party forcing his attachment within month of his posting as BDO Marwah.
The sources said that BDO Dachhan who has given the additional charge of block Marwah is already holding the charge of three blocks. The sources said that there are several complaints of corruption in block Marwah pending with various state investigating agencies including Vigilance Organization and Crime Branch, added that hardly any team visited the area to verified the complaints.
It is pertinent to mention that Ghulam Nabi Balwan was removed from the post of Director Rural Development Jammu within three months allegedly for similar reasons. |
