Youths rough up traffic cop 7/17/2015 12:01:31 AM Early Times Report UDHAMPUR, July 16: Some unidentified youths roughed up a traffic cop on late last night at Battal Ballian locality and injured cop was later hospitalized at District Hospital Udhampur. "The injured has been identified namely as Vijay Sharma s/o Suram Chand of Omara Morh Udhampur (Head Constable Traffic Police), police sources said According to sources, some motorcycle borne youths allegedly manhandled the above mentioned head constable when he alongwith a team intercepted them at a naka at Battel Ballian Road Udhampur. "On interception the bikers starting exchanging unparliamentarily language against police and then thrashed traffic personnel," sources said and added that the accused managed to flee from the spot by speeding their bike.
