Army jawan drowns in River Chenab 8/6/2015 11:06:41 PM Early Times Report Ramban, Aug 6: An Army jawan got washed away when he accidentally slipped into River Chenab in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir."Sepoy Hoshiyar Singh of 102 Battalion, Territorial Army was going to Srinagar last evening when he slipped into the River while attending nature's call in Ramban," police sources here today said.They said the jawan was a resident of Haryana and had to join his duty at Badami Bagh in Srinagar.Search operation was launched but the body got washed away due to fast water currents and had not yet been recovered, police added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
