Kathua, Aug 6: Urging early intervention of state government to redress their long pending demands, the Patwar Association Kathua today called on District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ajay Singh Jamwal, and submitted memorandum of demands. Earlier members of Patwar Association Kathua from various tehsils held meetings under their respective heads in Bani, Basohli, Mahanpur, Billawar, Lohai Malhar, Ramkot, Dinga, Hiranagar, Marheen, Kathie, Nagri Parole followed by a joint meeting at Kathua. The meeting chaired by president of the association Sardar Ali deliberated upon various issues of Patwaris. During the meeting the member highlighted their long pending demands including the seniority list of Patwaries of Kathua to be prepared and uploaded on official site, despite repeated representations the newly appointed Patwaris in the year 2013 working without salary for the last one year, and even have not been paid stipend for the last four months of their training period at RT Jammu. Other demands raised in this meeting were preparing of service books of the newly appointed patwaris and Niabats in district should be upgraded with IT infrastructure which is much needed in the modern era. The DDC Kathua Ajay Singh Jamwal listened to their problems keenly and assured to take yp matter with concerned at earliest. |
