| SKUAST- TAJ organizes executive meet | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 6 : SKUAST- Teaching Association Jammu (TAJ) today organized 12th executive meet under the chairmanship of Dr. Vikas Sharma.
According to press release, the office bearers of association discussed pertaining agendas of the association and teaching fraternity.
Dr. Vikas announced in the meeting that for the smooth functioning of TAJ, Dr. Anil Bhatt, Asstt Professor from Division of Agricultural Economics will be the new and additional executive from Main Campus Chatha of SKUAST-Jammu.
During the meeting it was impressed upon that there should be clearance of all pending CAS promotion cases with in shortest possible time as it is creating financial liability as well as delaying the promotions of varsity staff and up to date statutes of SKUAST-Jammu must be displayed on the university website for information of the employees of the Institution.
Dr. Vikas further added that we are working for the overall welfare, better functioning and progress of the varsity and he assured that the professional interests of the scientists will not be ignored in future at any caste.
Rotation of programme coordinators, allotment of Ph.D students to Asstt. Professors, faculty club and involvement of KVK staff in advisory /committees were the other major issues discussed in this 12th executive committee meet of SKUAST - TAJ.
Dr. Vivek Arya, Dr. P.K. Rai, Dr. Devinder Sharma, Dr. Dr. Vinod Gupta and Dr. Jai Kumar were also present on the occasion. |
