Rajouri, Aug 6 : Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages sub office Rajouri today organized a multi lingual Mushaira here at Government Boys High School Siot.
The programme started with the welcome address of Dr.Alamdar Adam Cultural Officer Rajouri, he said the main objective of these activities was not only to inculcate the writing skills and spirit among younger generation but also spreading a massage of peace, prosperity, communal harmony, brother hood, oneness and to attract them towards local languages and folk art. The function was presided over by a renowned Poet Balak Ram Bral whereas Vijay Kumar Headmaster GHS Soit was the Chief Guest ,the poets presented their unpublished and latest poetic collection on the occasion were Joginder Paul ,Mulak Raj, Darshan lal, Sumit Sudan, Sanjeev khajuria, Neeru Sharma, Payaro Ram, Rampal Sharma, Ropali Sharma, Sham Lal Makolia. People of the area, teachers and students of the institution fully enjoyed the composite mushaira and appreciated the steps of cultural officer taken for the developments of local languages, folk music and folk art, the programme was conducted by KK Khaki a renowned artists of the area. Balak Ram appreciated the working of Dr.Alamdar Adam cultural officer Rajouri and spoke related the importance of these type of cultural and literary activities. |
