Jammu, Aug 6 : A workshop on "Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation" CCE was organized in KC Gurukul Public School, Paloura, Jammu, in its premises under the guidance of an agency for Self Empowerment under the name Juana Technologies collaborated with CBSE New Delhi.
The workshop was inaugurated by Vijay Puri, Academic director of the school. About 50 teachers participated in this workshop from both the sister schools, KC Gurukul Public school Paloura, Jammu and KC Gurukul Public school, Jakhar, Udhampur .
The resource person was Girish G Bhatia who is associated with John Maxwell Team Florida USA, and has conducted more than thousands of workshops in Self Empowerment, Teachers Empowerment, Students Empowerment, Leadership Inside Out, Team building , Effective Communication Goal Achievement as well as CCE implementation all across India. The agenda of the workshop was understanding meaning features and concept of CCE, Formative Assesment, Summative assessment, Value based Questions, Bullying and Gender Sensitivity. Girish G Bhatia in his key note address explained the new scheme of Evaluation. He said that the main thrust of the scheme is to discourage rote- learning by making evaluation as an integral part of teaching and learning process. |
