Anti Hemophilic Factors worth Rs 18 lakh distributed among patients 8/21/2015 10:50:25 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 21: Continuing its helping hand to hemophilia patients of Jammu and Kashmir, Hemophilia Society, Jammu chapter distributed much needed and costly Anti Hemophilic Factor worth Rs. 18 lakhs were provided by World Federation of Hemophilia, Canada. An impressive function was organized by the Hemophilia Society Jammu chapter in collaboration with SMGS hospital administration at SMGS hospital, whereas Principal, Government Medical College and Hospital Dr. Ghan Shyam Dev, Jammu was the chief guest and Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital Dr. Dara Singh was the guest of honour on the Occasion. While, Founder member J&K Hemophilia Society Jammu Jagdish Sharma and President of society Rohit Jandial also shared dais with special invitees. They appreciated the efforts of Principal and MS of the hospital for taking the keen interest for the betterment of the hemophilics in the region. They also appraised about the problems being faced by hemophilic patients and appealed kindly involve the local society for proper Programming, planning and their implementation for the Hemophilic patients. Sharma emphasized that Anti Hemophilic Factor which is a lifesaving drug must be available round the clock and the procedure to get the AHF from the hospital for indoor patients must be simplify, so that patient may not suffer more. Principal Dr Ghan Shyam Dev Gupta appreciated the role of the Society and said the hospital administration is trying their best to provide factor to the patients on time. "We have submitted a proposal to the higher department to increase the funds for the patients, "he added. Meanwhile, Dr Dara Singh also assured that they will be fully cooperate in this regard.
