KPC opposes Indo-Pak NSA level talks | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 21 : While condemning Pakistan for an effort to make Kashmiri separatists relevant and a part dialogue over so-called Kashm-irissue, Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC today stated that these separatists have no role to play in these two nation talks as they are anti- nationals and agents of Pakistan and never at all representatives of people of J&K state. In a statement issued from New Delhi here today, KPC Chief further ridiculed the Mufti Mohd Sayeed, J&K state Chief Minister for releasing the Separatist leaders of Kashmir within a couple of hour of their arrest. He stated that it directly indicates that Mufti Sayeed has covert nexus with pro- Pak separatists and their masters across the border. KPC Chief further stated that to include Hurriyat or any other group in talks between India and Pakistan over Kashmir are not justified as it goes against the Shimla agreement. He also reminded the BJP which used to say that talks and terrorism cannot go side by side and this should be the principle stand over this issue. Hence, KPC opposes these talks in view of above facts, in particular, of inviting Hurriyat and other separatists in a meeting with Sartaj Aziz, Pak NSA ahead of NSA meet at New Delhi on August 23, he said and appealed Govt of India not to hold these talks with the Pakistan and also not make Hurriyat relevant and part of any dialogue presently as well as in future. |
