Early Times Report Doda, Aug 21: On the call of AISF's National Council, All India Students Federation (AISF) unit Jammu and Kashmir has come in support of protesting students of The Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). According to press release, today throughout the country AISF registered its resistance against the central government decision. AISF unit Doda in a press satement today appreciated the courageous and principled struggle being waged by the students of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). Their indefinite strike, which is continues for the second month, demands the reversal of the central government's decision to appoint Gajendra Chauhan as the Chairman of the FTII, (He clearly lacks the credentials to head the prestigious Institute as he has campaigned for BJP in the 2014 polls), and to appoint four questionable propagandists to its governing council. |
