JAMMU, Aug 21: Army Public School, Domana organized investiture ceremony in the school premises here today.
According to press release, the programme was organized to entrust the elected appointees of school council with the responsibility of maintaining discipline and acquiring leadership qualities in the school.
The Chief Guest Brig B S Bisht, SM conferred the students with sashes and badges.
The prominent among them were Ayushman Koul of class XII as the Head Boy, Sushmita of class XII as the Head Girl, Shobit Gupta of class XI as the Vice Head Boy, Astha Sharma of class XI as the Vice Head Girl, Rohit Koul of class VI as Junior Head Boy and Anjali Langeh as Junior Head Girl. Besides, the four House Captains, sports captain, members of editorial board, discipline in charge etc were also given sashes and badges.
On this occasion, the Chief Guest also honoured the Principal, teachers teaching class X and XII and meritorious students of class X and XII with certificate of appreciation given by Hon'ble Minister of HRD as a mark of appreciation for their excellent performance in class X and XII board examination. |
