Vijaypur, Aug 21: Sarpanchs of Block Vijaypur and Ramgarh at Vijaypur in a meeting held under Sarpanch Ram Pal Sharma discussed the current situation in the border district Samba and alleged that district administration has utterly failed to handle the chaotic situation created due to one or the other reason.
Talking to media persons Sarpanch Ram Pal Sharma referred to incident which took place at Rahya Morh late last evening and said incident is condemnable and also exposed the failure of local administration who failed to defuse the tension.
He said the incident has occurred due to the lack of information by various agencies which are functioning in the district Samba. "Since past one week, the district witnessed tension at Bari Brahmana locality over the matter of revered books of Muslim Community being sold in junk.
"It was the duty of the administration, the matter was to be discussed with the prominent persons of the locality but the local administration failed utterly and some bad elements have taken the advantage and are succeeding in their nefarious goal and they want to divert the attention of the administration, he said.
