Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 21: Demanding immediate release of pending salary of teachers working under New Pension Scheme, members of Teachers Guild Jammu & Kashmir held an urgent meeting today at its headquarter. The meeting was chaired by Nasir Ahmed Qurashi, State President of Teachers Guild. The meeting was called upon by Vijay Kumar Sharma, State General Secretary, Teachers Guild on the request put forth by the members of zonal groups regarding release of pending salary of teachers under New Pension Scheme. Besides Virender Kumar Sharma, Mohan Singh Choudhary, Vice Presidents TGJK, Advocate Mohd. Farooq Faraz Qurashi, Legal Advisor TGJK, Narayan Baru, Programme Coordinator, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Wani, Convener Literary Cell TGJK and heads of other cells of Teachers Guild were also present in the meeting. In his presidential address, Nasir Ahmed Qurashi said that it is unfortunate that the pending salaries of teachers under New Pension Scheme are not released so far. He said that as per the complaints available with Teachers Guild Jammu and Kashmir two to twelve months salaries of teachers under NPS have not been paid yet. |
