NIA announces rewards for info on LeT terrorists | | | Agencies
New Delhi, Aug 21: The National Investigation Agency on Friday announced rewards for any information leading to arrest of Lashkar-e-Toiba commander Abu Qasim and another militant Abu Okasha in Jammu and Kashmir. Both Abu Qasim and Abu Okasha are wanted in connection with Udhampur terror attack. NIA has announced a cash reward of Rs 10 lakh for information on Abu Qasim. A massive manhunt was launched in Jammu and Kashmir for Abu Qasim, a top Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander who is believed to be a handler of arrested Pakistani terrorist Mohammad Naved Yakub. The manhunt is focussing on the Kashmir Valley. Sources in the National Investigation Agency (NIA) believe Qasim has been operating freely in the Kashmir Valley since 2011. |
