KCPS bags 7 gold, 16 silver, 8 bronze medals | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 1: Swimmers in various age categories dominated at the Annual Inter School Swimming Meet hosted by KC International School and bagged 7 Gold, 16 Silver and 8 Bronze medals. This was the largest haul of medals among all the schools participating in the event. In the Under-IS category for boys, Karan Dhar won 2 Gold and 2 Bronze medals. Sanjeet Singh bagged one Silver and one Bronze in this category. Lily Bhau and Yuvraj Gupta won 2 Bronze medals each whereas Arnav and Sawan Vaid won one Silver each. In the Under-12 category for boys, Nilay, Vikas Koul and Piush won four, two and one Silver medals respectively. Sushant Singh Bhau performed well by winning 3 Silver and 1 Bronze in this age group. In the Under-I 4 category for girls, Diya Khajuria won 2 Gold, Samya Vaid bagged one Gold and one Silver and Akshita Mengi and Anika Gandotra won one Gold and one Silver each. The Principal of the School Amarendra Kumar Mishra congratulated the students and their swimming coaches Babita Rani and Thakur Singh for maintaining their status of highest medal winners in this annual event. |
