Imposter cop poses as PA to IGP Jammu, grabs Rs 80,000 from SPO 9/2/2015 12:28:56 AM Sumit Sharma Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 1: An imposter cop posted in Government Railway Police (GRP) posed himself as PA to IGP Jammu and duped Rs 80,000 from Special Police Officer (SPO) on the pretext of getting him regularized. The incident took place couple of weeks ago when the SPO namely Jewan Lal son of Om Prakash, posted in police station Dacchan,Kishtwar, who had come to Jammu in connection with his personal work met with the said constable, identified as Manzoor Ahmed Haji, belt No 747 posted with GRP Pulwama at Bhagwati Nagar. The latter, posing himself as PA to IGP Jammu coerced SPO to deliver Rs 55,000 for getting him regularized as constable in police as first installment and later Rs 25000 which was later transferred to A/C No 3154 in the account holder of one Riyaz Ahmed Waghey of Pulwama Kashmir. The SPO who paid the amount after raising loan later realized that he had been duped by the said constable as the very constable is already entangled with the number of departmental inquiries.
