| Ex Dir Inf Narinder pays tribute to Balraj Puri | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 1: Former Director of Information department Narinder Singh paid tributes to Balraj Puri, a veteran journalist, columnist and socialist at his birth anniversary in a function held at Seghal hall, Jammu.
On the occasion, he described him as generation inspirer because of his selflessness and concern for the society. He said that in the recent past, the veteran journalist had asked him to pen down his experiences with the politicians when he narrated his a few anecdotes with leaders of various political parties. He further said that since he could not complete the book during Puri's lifetime the same will now be published and dedicated to Puri.
This was in reference to Dr Farooq Abdullah's remarks that politicians are liar and dishonest. He further said that Puri was an institution unto himself, worked tirelessly and sincerely for harmonious growth of society. |
