Non-subsidised LPG rates reduced by Rs 25.50 | | | Agencies
New Delhi, Sept 1: After reduction in price of petrol and diesel, now non-subsidised domestic LPG rates have also been slashed by Rs 25.50 per cylinder. Henceforth, Non-subsidised cooking gas (LPG) price in Delhi has been cut to Rs 559.50 per cylinder as compared to Rs 585 previously. This is the third reduction in rates in as many months. Non-subsidised LPG rates were last cut by Rs 23.50 on August 1. Prior to that, rates were cut by Rs 18 per cylinder to Rs 608.50 on July 1. Non-subsidised or market-priced LPG is one that consumers buy after exhausting their quota of 12 bottles of 14.2-kg each at subsidised rates in a year. Meanwhile, ATF (jet fuel) price has also been cut by a steep 11.7 percent. Petrol price was yesterday cut by Rs 2 per litre and diesel by Rs 0.50 a litre, the third reduction in rates this month on fall in global oil rates. Price of petrol in Delhi has been cut by Rs 2 per litre, including local levies, and will cost Rs 61.20 per litre while a litre of diesel will cost Rs 44.45 as compared to Rs 44.95 currently. |
