| Vishwa Bharati celebrates Janam Ashtami | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 1 : The tiny tots of Vishwa Bharati Primary Wing celebrated Janam Ashtami today at School premises. The programme initiated with 'Sri Krishna Vandana' by the students of class 8th and 12th which was followed by the welcome address by Sharika Raina (Incharge Primary Wing).
Prof. Sunita Kampassi, Principal Vishwa Bharati College of Education was the Chief-Guest and Dr. S.K. Kaul was the guest of honour on the occasion. Tiny tots delivered speeches and displayed cultural items that fascinated everyone present in the auditorium. Ayush Koul, Moksha Bhat, Mannat Saini and Divyanshu Manhas delivered their speech on Janam Ashtami festival. A 'Solo Dance' by Narmata from Class-Vth and 'Modelling Show' by the students of class first enthralled everyone.
Students of Class-II and Master Keshav from Class-I recited Shalokas from Bhagvat Gita with confidence and correct pronunciation.
The Chief Guest in her speech praised the tiny tots for their picturesque performance and encouraged them to read and follow the path of Bhagvat Gita. Secretary Vishwa Bharati Public Hr. Sec. School, Dr. S.K. Kaul wished Happy Janam Ashtami to one and all present on the occasion and lauded the efforts of the organizing team. School Principal, Annapurna Koul admired the students for fabulously displaying their performances and lauded the Primary teachers for their uberous contribution in preparing the small kids for their best presentations.
The whole program concluded with the Vote of thanks by Achint Kour from the Deptt. of English. |
