1st Induction program for fresh batches held at MBS | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 1: 1st induction program for the fresh batch of admission 2015 was conducted at Mahant Bachittar Singh College of Engineering & Technology today. During induction programme the students were provided an insight to the institution, infrastructure, faculty and process of academic learning and teaching. The students were introduced to the faculty members by Prof. Amrik Singh, Vice Principal and Prof. Parveen Singh provided academic inputs to the students. Chairman, MBSCET S. Rangil Singh provided enriched inputs and exhorted that the students must sharpen their professional skill to meet challenges of 21st century and speaking on the occasion, Chairman impressed upon the students to adopt discipline in their academics as well as social lives in order to become good engineers. He laid stress on taking up studies seriously as their are ample opportunity for engineers of all streams to breakthrough into new ventures and technological advancements. The programme was graced with the presence of S. Lakhbir Singh Bawa, Advisor, all the chairman's of the trust run institutions and Heads of the Departments of the institution. Parents and representatives of various social organizations. At the end students were provided the details of curriculum and were informed that in next two days they shall be inducted to their respective disciplines by the faculty members of that discipline. The program was concluded by vote of thanks presented by Program anchors Mansi Gupta and Jasmine Kour. |
