Jammu, Sept 1, Sangeeta Gupta,Principal Commissioner Income Tax Jammu and Kashmir was conferred upon prestigious sixth Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award at India Habitat Centre ,New Delhi as painter and poet by 'Pehchan' an NGO working for girl child. Anuradha Rishi Jammu based artist from Delhi was the special invitee on the occasion.
According to press release, to her credit Sangeeta fetched numerous awards and accolades viz. India Excellence Award for Poetry 2015 by Bharat Nirman NGO, New Delhi; Priyadarshani Award2015 as an International Cultural Entrepreneur by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneur India.
She did art camps and painting exhibitions in Shenzehen, China; Four International Art Fairs at Delhi.28 solo shows in London, Berlin, Munich, Lahore, Belfast and Thessaloniki (Greece) beside India.
She has scripted, directed and shot 6 Documentary films. Her films have been screened at various prestigious venues in Delhi and abroad and telecasted on DD Bharati and Lok Sabha Channels several times in the recent past. |
