| Bike lifters, burglars held, stolen bikes recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 1: R S Pura police today claimed to have busted the gang of bike lifters and recovered four stolen motorcycles from their possession here today. Meanwhile police also worked out two cases of house thefts with the arrest of three thieves from R S Pura.
"The accused bike lifters have been identified as Vikram Singh @ Bika and Karnail Singh @ Jony, both residents of Narhi while the burglars have been identified namely as Akshey Kumar of Bishnah, Rashpal Sng @Bulli of Chanduchak and Pinka Kumar @ Kaka of Abdulian," police said.
Police said that the arrests were made by a team of I/Os headed by Inspector Bhushan Manhas SHO RS Pura under the supervision of Harjit Sing SDPO R S Pura, Randhir Singh SP HQ and under overall supervision of I/c SSP Jammu Rajiv Panday.
As per police sources, of four recovered motorcycles, two were stolen from Bakshinager locality, one each from R S Pura and Bishnah respectively.
Meanwhile, police also worked out two cases of house thefts in R S Pura with the arrest of three above mentioned thieves. The police have booked them in a case FIR no.104/15 U/S 379 RPC. |
