| Agriculture Minister Hanjura creates History | | Appoints a PAK trained militant and Gunda as his PRO | | Early Times Report
Srinagar- A senior PDP Leader and Agriculture Minister in the coalition Govt. Gh. Nabi Lone Hanjura has appointed a PAK trained militant as his PRO . This is seen as a big surprise and blow to the ideology of BJP to go tough against anti – national elements having direct or indirect involvement in creating hostile atmosphere in the State. The move is fraught with dangerous consequences as the person is likely to get access to the important documents and secrets in the secretariat.
Manzoor Ahmad Ganaie S/o Ab. Salam Ganaie R/o Dalipora Tehsil Chadoora Distt. Budgam is not only a PAK trained militant but also a known vulgur , Gunda and Basmash of his locality having dozens of FIRs relating to criminal activities pending investigation in Police Station Chadoora. His father was a teacher and fell to the bullets in a rivalry act of militants. Manzoor was appointed under SRO but was not allowed to join as the CID upon verification furnished a negative character antecedent certificate in his favour . He has been a staunch supporter of Lone throughout. Lone has been using his militant background as a tool to muster support for his victory in elections . TO reward him, Lone has appointed Manzoor Ahmad Ganaie as his PRO . Manzoor is a matriculate and cannot hold the post being a gazette cadre post. General Administration Department has thrown the eligibility criteria to winds while issuing orders of his appointment as PRO (First). How come he has been allowed to join without verifying his eligibility and character antecedents? Lone has also kept a vehicle of Sericulture Department at the disposal of Manzoor to please him. Another person who has just managed to pass matriculation has been appointed as PRO (2nd ). He is also a notorious figure in Chrar locality.
Manzoor has started harassing people , pressuring the employees and getting his personal things done illegally.
Recently he has pressurized ground Water Division Srinagar to dig a machine drilled bore well in the premises of his house where portable water is available in abundance thereby depriving all those who need such facility in the area. Besides 6-7 bore wells have been dug in and around Lone’s residence at Hanjura and also in the premises of some prominent workers of Lone who were not deserving for it. .
All the persons with Nationalist background are worried about this development and curse on BJP to allow such things to happen and behave as mute spectators.
