Jammu, Sept 16: MBA, Third Semester students of Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) visited Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Samba.
According to press release, the students were accompanied by Dr. Parul Sharma and Akhil Gupta from the department of Management Studies, MIET.
The visit started with the detailed briefing about the company through Power Point presentation and videos by Brig (Retd.) KS Chouhan, General Manager, followed by an informal interaction in which students raised queries related to their specializations, operational challenges and job opportunities.
Thereafter, students were taken around the plant which included primary packaging section, acceptance and rejection section, engineering section including boiler and chilling plant, power control system and warehouse. The visit concluded with a group photograph with the General Manager and the HR Team.
Prior to the Industrial Visit, an in house orientation session was conducted for the students with an overview of the Pharmaceutical industry in general and Cadila Pharmaceuticals in particular, so that the students could gain maximum from the visit. |
