| GCW Udhampur organizes Inter-College symposium | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 16: Science Club of GCW, Udhampur organized inter-college symposium on the topic "Depletion of Ozone Layer" in collaboration with "Science Technology and innovation Council Udhampur under the convener ship of Dr. Bhavnaish Chand (HOD Physics) 18 students from three colleges namely, Govt. College for Women Udhampur, Govt. Degree College Boys Udhampur and Bhaskar Degree College Udhampur participated in this symposium.
On the occasion Principal of the college Prof. K.S Koushal was the chief guest and other dignitaries present on this occasion. Based on the judgment of jury members Prof. Ashni Devi, (HOD Botany) Dr Arun Kumar Sharma, (HOD Chemistry) and Prof. Brinder Kumar HOD Zoology.
Parul Oberoi of GCW, Udhampur bagged 1st prize while 2nd and 3rd prize were bagged by Shilpa Bharti of GCW, Udhampur and Sabeena Akhter of GDC (Boys) Udhampur. Consolation prizes were shared by Osheen Bakshi and Kashish Mahajan of GDC (Boys Udhampur and Sapna of GCW Udhampur. |
