Jammu, Sept 16: Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), today held a press conference at Amar Singh Club, Jammu. In a press statement, Arvinder Singh Mickey, Chairman JKCA stated that the rebel faction of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA)led by minister for Sports, Imran Raza Ansari is leaving no stone unturned rather is hell- bent upon to hamper cricket activities in the State. This faction is burning mid-night oil to keep the players in a fix by projecting themselves as custodians of the association and engaging the players in illegal camps by using Government machinery. He said that the Ansari faction is illegally indulging in the affairs of JKCA, throwing constitution into winds, adding that lust for power forces them to use illegal means in intervening into the JKCA affairs. He further said, " we are holding and will be organizing JKCA camps as per the court directions as the Hon'ble court has stayed the so called election held by the rebel group on July 20, 2015". He added that JKCA will hold the Ranji trophy camp from tomorrow, while the camp for U-19 girls is going on at Mayank Goswami Academy. Meanwhile the members sought CBI intervention and probe for certificate Scam in JKCA. Terming the scam as brutal act, the members said that few members from the rebel faction have issuede certificates to their kiths and kins, friends and favourites. |
