Three juveniles who escaped police custody, re-arrested within 8 hrs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 16: Police today claimed to have re-arrested the three juveniles who managed to escape from the Juvenile Observatory Home R S Pura late last night within the eight hours. Police spokesman said that yesterday night in-charge Juvenile observatory home RS Pura informed RS Pura Police station that three juveniles managed to escape from the home following which RS pura swung into action and rearrested them within 8 hours. Police have identified the run-away juveniles namely as Mohammad Ishfaq s/o Abdul Gani of Mahore involved in case under FIR 101/14 under sections 353, 307, 302 of RPC registered at Channi Himmat, Danish Mahammad s/o Ghulam Din of Poonch involved in a case under FIR 159/15 under section 379 of RPC in Surankote Police Station and Sandeep Kumar s/o Kalidas of W-11 , Bishnah booked under sections 454 and 380 of RPC registered at Gangyal Police Station. Police further said that all were between age group of 14 to 17 years and managed to escape after breaking the door and window of the home. On receiving the information, a case under FIR 142/15 u/s 223, 224 of RPC was registered and investigation taken up. "On the directions of SP headquarters Jammu S Randheer Singh different police parties were constituted and a team headed by SHO R S Pura Bushan Manhas successfully apprehended juvenile Danish Mohammad near Daljit Chowk at 0300 hours. "Later after hectic efforts two other juveniles were also got arrested from places Kotli Shah Dulla and Kotli Arjun Singh respectively in the wee hours today. Police said that professional performance on part of police of RS Pura resulted in arrest of all the three juveniles within a period of 8 hours. |
