JAMMU, Sept 19 : The J&K Freedom Fighters Association today remembered the hero of 1965 Indo-Pak war, who sacrifices their lives for the Nation. A function was organized at Diwan Badri Nath (DBN) school Mubarak Mandi, wherein Ved Gandotra, President of the association, was also present. President of the Aditi Welfare India Charitable Trust, Aditi Sharma was the Chief Guest while State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan, State President, Kranti Dal, Pritam Sharma and State President, Shiv Sena Hindustan, Rajesh Kesari were the Guests of Honour. The function to commemorate the celebration of Golden Jubilee of 1965 Indo-Pak war victory was commenced by paying tributes to martyrs by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries. Students of the school also took part in the celebration and presenting various patriotic songs including Ganesh Vandana which was applauded by the audience. Chief Guest stressed upon the students to follow the path of freedom fighters and always be ready to maintain integrity and sovereignty of the nation. Director of the School, Suresh Sharma and Principal, Indu Puri along with along with Prabhat Kapahi, Binni Mahajan and staff of the school were also present. |
