| Jammu, Sept 19 : Former Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Narinder Singh, while hailing the action taken by Vigilance Organization against former PRO of Dy CM, Kewal Sharma, alleged that Kewal Sharma's matriculation certificate was also fake and Vigilance should also enquire into this aspect of matter. Speaking to Early Times, he alleged that son of Kewal, Ishant Sharma was posted as Watch and Ward man in JK legislative Assembly in 2014 and his appointment was also controversial. "He was appointed through backdoor channels and that too during Model Code of Conduct was in force. Transactions from his back account are also found by Vigilance, and it is beyond imagination, how such wealth was amassed by a simple employee in one year", he alleged. He further said that from the news reports it also came to fore that Ishant Sharma had thrown a bag full of currency notes, when Vigilance team raided their house. "Being an employee of Legislative Assembly and attached with Speaker Kavinder Gupta, he must be on duty, but he was in house, which raises suspicion", he said. He further said that it was not only one single PRO of former deputy Chief Minister, who had amassed such huge wealth but the whereabouts and wealth accumulated by other PROs should also be investigated by the Vigilance Organization. |
