Health Department launches awareness against Dengu 9/19/2015 11:19:09 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Sept 19: The Health Department launched awareness drive today amidst reports of five cases of Dengu having been found in primary diagnosis and started an exercise of spray of medicines in entire Kathua City including the locality of Chak Ram Singh , Hatli Morh, Jakhwar and Basant Vihar from where the cases have been noticed.. In a hurriedly called press conference, Chief Medical Officer Kathua, Dr Basant Kumar informed that immediate action shall be taken to put a lid on further spread of communicative diseases putting the whole machinery into gear for the purpose. He said that the Department has established regular contact with Sanitation Committees including ASHA workers to aware the public and provide preventive measures at the door steps adding that medicines have been made available throughout the localities from where the cases were found.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
