Murder mystery cracked, accuse held 9/19/2015 11:22:20 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 19 : Satwari police today claimed to have cracked a murder mystery of a woman and arrested murder accuse who is son of the deceased. Police spokesman said that on July 10, it was reliably learnt at Satwari police station that dead body of Rani wife of late Latief Mohammad of ward no 1 Narwal Pain is lying in her house. "Acting on the information, police team led by Inspector Manjeet Singh, SHO Satwari reached the spot and shifted the body to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H)", added spokesman. During the course of probe, it came to fore that Mohd Altaf elder son of the deceased used to beat her mercilessly and after obtaining post-mortem report a case under FIR no 200/15 under section 302 of RPC registered against the accused person. Spokesman further said that it was revealed by the family members and the neighbours that accused Mohammad Altaf alias Kali used to intoxicate her mother by giving her liquor and then beat her mercilessly. On the fate full day accused gave liquor to her mother and then started beating her, resulting into head injury and internal organ repute of the deceased badly as a result Rani died on spot. Investigation conducted further revealed that a special team headed by SHO under the supervision of Uttam Chand conducted raids at various places and succeeded to apprehend the accused Mohd Altaf in the case while further investigation is on.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
