Jammu, Sept 27: The working body of Evacuee Property Tenants Welfare Society, in an emergency call given by its patron Suraj Prakash Sharma met on Sunday.
The matter regarding holding of elections of evacuee property tenants' welfare society came up for discussion. Working body after threadbare discussion reached the conclusion that because of some obvious circumstances the society's election could not be held at this stage.
The working body resolved that the present society shall continue keeping in view the prevalent situation. The general secretary also said that several issues pertaining to allotment, transfer of allotment were discussed. He informed the general body that there are some cases recommended by the Custodian Jammu for pending disposal of Custodian General.
The working body is committed to get those cases cleared as and when custodian general is appointed. The recommendations of working body made on 16-09-2015 were placed before the general body held on 27-09-2015.the general consensus on the issue got unanimous approval of these constituent bodies by raising their hands up for the continuation of the present society under the Presidentship of Jyoti Vaid.

Tejram, Parvinder Kour, Akbar Ali, Gopal Sharma, Sunny Chibber, Sureshta Devi, Rajinder Singh, Kamalnath Sharma, Satish Sharma, Rajesh Kalra , Bindu Sharma, Kanta Devi , Farooq Salaria , Chaman Lal Sharma, Mumtaz Salaria, Kuldeep Singh Chib and others. |
